Description
The Combination Thermomelt Stik or Markal Heat Stik a low cost, quick rail surface temperature indicator indicator used during the rail welding process. The ends possess different temperature indicators. On one end, the heat stick will melt at 163 degrees for winter welding, and on the other end, it will melt at 200 degrees during summer welding.
Using the tempilstik to mark the rail measures rail temperature with extreme accuracy to determine whether the surface has reached the proper temperature when pre-heating rail for welding. Check out additional railroad tool solutions from Industry-Railway Suppliers today.
