Pull Apart Rope

This Pull Apart Rope from Industry-Railway Suppliers is ideal for use in the “rope” heater method for rail heating in cold weather. It’s made from durable fiberglass and absorbs fuel like diesel or kerosene products quickly and easily. It measures 1” in diameter, and each case comes with 125’ of rope.

This rope is ideal an economical way for heating rail in cold weather. When soaked in a flammable product, this fiberglass pull apart rope absorbs the fuel efficiently. It’s useful for heating rail segments for a variety of purposes, including heating rail segments that pull apart so that they can be joined back together.

Fiberglass pull apart rope is the traditional alternative to the rail-heating product FireSnake®, and is particularly useful for long rail segments, since a single 125’ rope segment can be used to heat long sections of rail or trimmed to heat multiple rail sections as well. 

We price our pull apart rope by the foot, with 125 feet per box. All purchases must be made in multiples of 125 feet.
