Pandrol's CD200E-IQ is the first IQ model in their tie clipping machine lineup. The 'IQ' refers to an intelligence control system, and was added to a variety of Pandrol's clipping machines to simplify the user operation.
The CD200E-IQ is based on a modular design and is lighter than previous models enabling easier on and off tracking. Its workead allows for e-Clip application but is quickly interchangeable for Fastclip (must purchase additional Fastclip workhead). Workheads are secured by mechanical and hydraulic connectors.
The addition of the 'IQ' provides information on number of clips installed, clipping cycles, number of operating hours, work hours, and reminds the operator of maintenance schedules. The IQ also intuitively determines when the user is not adhereing to proper machine operation saving costly downtime.
The CD200E-IQ is powered by an electric start Honda engine and equipped with a work light, tool storage box and an auxiliary hydraulic cooler, which leads to long machine life.
