Description
The new Pandrol CD400SP-IQ is a Self Propelled Intelligent Clip Driver. The CD400SP-IQ both applies and removes e-clips or fastclips and is unique from other tie clipping machines in that it is fully controlled by a handheld, wireless Bluetooth remote control and possesses a data collection and prediction 'IQ' system.
The operator controls all functions of the clipping process with the Bluetooth remote control– speed, clipping and de-clipping, engine on and off, clipping type, etc., without touching the machine, greatly increasing safety.
Its intelligence ‘IQ’ system tracks a plethora of the CD400SP-IQ's data points such as machine wear, maintenance schedule, engine hours, production hours, and amount of clipping and declipping to name a few. It even has a GPS modem that tracks the machine's geo location and gives access to machine vitals remotely.
The CD400SP-IQ applies up to 40 ties per minute with fastclips, and up to 20 ties per minute with e-clips.
