Recap of The 2023 NRC Show

The 2023 NRC (National Railroad Construction and Maintenance) Show, held the first week of every year, has sadly already come and gone. It was yet another outstanding show held in the most beautiful, sunny location to boot - Boca Raton, Florida. A delightful escape from our Chicago winter.

 This year, IRS employees who attended the show (pictured in video above) were David Glawe (Sales Director), Kelly Gehr (Marketing Manager), Scott Commo (President) and Tommy Wooten (Key Account Manager).

We attended the conference along with a few of our dedicated OEM partners as well: Willamette Valley Company, Pandrol, J. Lanfranco Fasteners and Swingmaster.

As always, there was a stellar lineup of top-level speakers each day of the show. Speakers featured in the video above are Ed Boyle, Vice President of Engineering of Norfolk Southern, Janice R. Thomas, Deputy Executive Director of Metra and Kristine Storm, Vice President of Purchasing at Genesee and Wyoming.

This is always a special week. We get to connect with new faces, and reconnect with old in the tight-knit, NRC-show-style environment with likeminded individuals sharing a mutual passion; railroad maintenance. There's nothing quite like the railroad industry.
