Industry-Railway’s Response to COVID-19

To Our Customers and Partners,

Beginning Saturday, March 21st, the Governor of Illinois instituted a “Stay at Home” Executive Order that requires many businesses in the state of Illinois to remain closed through Thursday, April 30th.

I am writing today to inform you that Industry-Railway Suppliers has not been affected by this closure at this time. IRS is classified as “Essential” due to our participation in the Transportation Sector Supply Chain. At this point in time we are operating with a smaller staff than usual in the interest of employee safety. IRS will continue to operate in an efficient and timely manner to support your business. While we do not foresee any major supply shortages or delays in the short term, we will do our best to keep you informed of any dramatic changes to our current situation.
