The Uni-lance Exothermic cutting Lance kit will slice through rail in just 25 seconds. It will precisely blow through rail, concrete, asphalt and virtually anything under the sun quickly.
The Uni-lance Exothermic Cutting Lance Kit comes with 1 hard plastic case, 1-each 1/4" lance rod torch adapter, 3/8" lance rod torch adapter, striker plate, 8-each 1/4" diameter by 18" long lance rods and 8-each 3/8" diameter by 18" long connectable lance rods – The 3/8" rods have a quick disconnect end allowing for expansion of cutting tool up to 6".
The Uni-lance kit is used to quickly slice or blow holes through the most durable materials through a process called exothermic cutting. Typically, this oxidation process occurs when steel is heated to the maximum temperature and injected with oxygen under high pressure.
The optimal reaction reaches the temperature level of 7500 degrees Fahrenheit therefore, using Uni-lance rods in exothermic cutting is highly efficient for piercing ferrous and non-ferrous materials in railroad applications. Exothermic cutting can be used in concrete and rock applications as well and suitable for all types of metal.
