Description
The 8" x 1" x 3/4" Grinding Wheel is a Type 1 Norton stone. It is 8 inches in diameter by 1 inch thick with a ¾ inch arbor hole, and is a 6000 RPM grinding wheel. This wheel is to be used in conjunction with hand-held grinders for general purpose rail grinding.
This grinding wheel is tough and intended to precisely and effectively grind many types of rail irregularities, and shape the rail. This wheel can be used in conjunction with the Matweld Straight Stone Grinder - Counter/Clockwise or the Matweld Straight Stone Grinder - Counter/Clockwise w/ Safety Trigger or the Straight Stone Grinder - Clockwise w/ Safety Trigger, the Matweld Straight Stone Grinder – Clockwise, or the Matweld Precision Frog Grinder.
