Description
This thermometer uses infrared technology to quickly measure the temperature of rail without having to touch the rail. This “weld temp” single spot laser is designed as a welding thermometer. The temperature measured can range between -76 degrees Fahrenheit to over 1600 degrees Fahrenheit.
Infrared thermometers have a sensor that focuses on infrared energy and converts it into an electrical signal that can be displayed in temperature units. Infrared thermometers allow you to measure the temperature of a surface from a distance by pointing the thermometer at the object without having to touch it directly.
These are useful for taking temperature readings while welding. This product has great portability and comes with a carrying case. Infrared thermometers have revolutionized the way temperature is checked throughout railroads, enabling railroaders to take fast temperature measurements with high accuracy from a safe distance and without risk of injury.
