This Matweld/Pandrol Multi-Purpose Grinder is suitable for a variety of rail grinding operations, and features an ergonomic design that allows the operator to remain in a fully upright position while grinding. This hydraulic grinder operates at 2,000 PSI with a 10 GPM flow rate.
Also known as a “bicycle grinder” due to the design of the handlebars, this grinder is also reduced-weight at just 52 lbs, which is lighter than comparable track-mounted grinders, and allows easy transport to remote areas, or in situations where only one or two operators may be present during maintenance-of-way operations.
The handle is also easy to adjust and position, allowing operators to adjust it for their height and comfort, and ensures the best results when grinding rail.
